Donations
Donation addresses are listed at the bottom of this page. If you can't donate, consider volunteering.
Early donors will be rewarded with a discount on membership. Membership will make the donor eligible to join the credit union once it is established. Membership will also allow the donor to express a vote on what features and initiatives take priority.
NCEF is applying for a tax exemption under section 501(c)(3). When the organization ultimately qualifies for exemption for the period in which your contribution is made, the contribution will be tax deductible retroactively. However, NCEF cannot guarantee that the IRS will grant the exemption.
NCEF will have to choose which cryptocurrencies to support first and which projects to prioritize. The easiest way to communicate your priorities and have your voice heard is to use the "Register Your Donation" form below before you send a donation. In the absence of other information, priorities will be guided by what cryptocurrencies the community uses to make their donations. If you would like to donate a cryptocurrency that does not currently have a donate address listed, use the "Request New Donation Option" form to request that a donate address be made.
All NCEF assets, including donations, are legally forever dedicated to nonprofit use. There are no shareholders or owners. That means none of NCEF's assets are wasted paying shareholders or owners. Legally, NCEF can only pay employees a reasonable amount for work provided. This allows NCEF to be a good steward of assets donated and to provide high quality service at a fraction of the cost.

Any cryptocurrency donations that are not accompanied with a form submission that identifies the donor will be considered anonymous. Donation receipts can only be given if an email is provided.
